With rising concerns on how to maintain a healthy weight, especially during the lockdown, the K-pop community in Chennai has announced a contest to help people keep fit and have fun. And of course, you cannot get more fun than K-pop.
Without flouting the norms of social distancing, it is good that we could do anything to keep ourselves engaged and entertained. One such many youngsters in Chennai have opted is K-Pop.
It is true that the modern form of this K-Pop (a genre of popular music originating from South Korea) could be traced back from the 1990s. Home work out competition has been announced by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and this has become popular among Korean enthusiasts.
It has been pointed out by a 24-year-old software trainee of Chennai that she has been planning for this competition. The truth is she wanted to be a part of this K-Pop.
It must be taken into account that the Consulate had put up a video of a dance workout using the song Wannabe by Itzy. To take part in this competition, one has to make a similar vide and share the link in the comments of the original post on FB. Slow and energetic steps would do and it would inspire more viewers to try those steps themselves. This was as per the software trainee of Chennai. The simple steps could also keep the person fit and healthy.
