It was brought out that the vehicles must be cleaned at least three times every day with sanitizers and the drivers must wash their hands with sanitizers frequently. In addition to this, sanitizers must be kept for the sake of the passengers also.

The government statement revealed that both driver and passenger must wear face masks during the trip. Drivers have also been instructed to wash their hands with soap at regular intervals. An important piece of information is in the last 2 months in the lockdown period autos have been allowed to carry people to hospitals and emergency services. This has resulted in a lack of income for the auto driver’s families. To operate the autos, the drivers have urged the TN state government and from Saturday onwards the government gave permission to operate autos.
Over the last few weeks, the state government has permitted functioning of all standalone shops across the state, opened state-run liquor outlets (except in Chennai and adjoining districts), and permitted state government offices to function with 50% staff for six days a week. Most recently, the government also permitted the resumption of shooting television serials and other programs, subject to various conditions and precautions.
